Hebrews 2:14 “Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,”
6. Jesus is the Soon Coming One
Revelation 22:12-13 “‘Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. ‘I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
Revelation 22:20 “He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming quickly.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.”
Isaiah 53:1-6 “Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, And like a root out of parched ground; He has no stately form or majesty That we should look upon Him, Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him. He was despised and forsaken of men, A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; And like one from whom men hide their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him.”
5. Jesus is the victorious one
Matthew 28:5-6 “The angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. ‘He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.”
Hebrews 9:26 “Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.”
Colossians 1:15-20 “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rules or authorities–all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in HIm, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.”
3. Jesus is the Holy One
Matthew 1:23 “‘Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,’ which translated means, ‘God with us.'”
John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
4. Jesus is the Saving One
Matthew 1:21 “‘She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”
Luke 2:11 “for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”

The Greatest Christmas gift is Jesus
1. Jesus is the Promised One
Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you one the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel.'”
Isaiah 7:14 “‘Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.”
2. Jesus is the sovereign one
Isaiah 9:6-7 “For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the goverment will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of Peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.”
-Jesus is the one that makes peace between God and man.

Psalm 37:5 “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.” (King James Version)
Psalmo 37:5 “Encomienda a Jehova tu camino, Y confia en El; y El hara.” (Reina-Valera)
These passages talk about trusting in God with your ways and he will guide you. A lot of times this means waiting on what God will do in our lives. I personally struggle sometimes having patience and worrying in this time of wait. But the Bible says in Matthew 6:25-34 to not have worry, “Therefore I say unto you, Take not thought for you life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Pero la Biblia dice en Mateo 6:25-34 a no afaneis, “Por tanto os digo: No os afaneis por vuestra vida, que habeis de comer o que habeis de beber; ni por vuestro cuerpo, que habeis de vestir. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? ¿no es la vida más que el alimento, y el cuerpo que el vestido? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Mirad las aves del cielo, que no siembran, ni siegan, ni recogen en graneros; y vuestro Padre celestial las alimenta. Are ye not much better than they? ¿No valeis vosotros mucho mas que ellas? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? ¿Y quién de vosotros podrá, por mucho que se afane, añadir á su estatura un codo? And why take ye thought for raiment? Y por el vestido ¿por qué os afanáis? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: Considerad los lirios del campo, como crecen: no trabajan ni hilan; And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. pero os digo, que ni aun Salomon con toda su gloria se vistio asi como uno de ellos. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Y si la hierba del campo que hoy es, y mañana se echa en el horno, Dios la viste asÃ, ¿no hará mucho más á vosotros, hombres de poca fe? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Whereeithal shall we be clothed? No os afanéis pues, diciendo: ¿Qué comeremos, ó qué beberemos, ó qué vestiremos? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. Porque los gentiles buscan todas estas cosas; pero vuestro Padre celestial sabe que teneis necesidad de todas estas cosas. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Mas buscad primeramente el reino de Dios y su justicia, y todas estas cosas os seran anadidas. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Asi que, no os afaneis por el dia de manana, porque el dia de manana traera su afan. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Basta a cada dia su propio mal.”
Don’t worry and wait in God.
No os afaneis y espera en Dios.
